Safer Together strives to increase service access and create safer spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ community members living and working in rural Yukon. Rural communities can request support from our Safer Together team for a variety of programming, both online and in-person. Safer Together supports a team of online moderators and community liaisons to create a lasting impact in our communities.

Rural communities can request any educational workshop relating to 2SLGBTQIA+ education, and staff will either support the creation and implementation of rural workshops, or will direct community members to relevant organizations.
Safer Together also hosts a variety of activity-based workshops such as crafts and club nights where 2SLGBTQIA+ community members can connect and chat.

Discord is an online platform that allows QYS Safer Together to host online events, and also acts as an online hub for rural community members to connect.
