The server is available for all 2SLGBTQIA+ Yukoners. We host fun virtual community events - like book clubs, art nights, game nights, and more!
Our Online Community is part of the Safer Together Project, which is a territory-wide initiative to increase access to resources and create safer environments in rural communities. One way this can be accomplished is through online spaces. Safer Together provides digital resources, and online community space, and monthly newsletters.

How can I access the online space?

What are you doing for our youth?

In addition to private invitations, Queer Yukon has posted a be-safer-online thread in the Discord server. Parents are also invited to join the server and explore the online space with their youth. Our server has one primary administrator and several volunteers moderators to support the safety of the server.
How do I start receiving the monthly newsletter?

To access the monthly newsletter, sign up for our mailing list by scrolling to the bottom of the page and submitting your information!
What is included in the online space?

The online space has a variety of threads to connect with other 2SLGBTQIA+ community members by chatting about hobbies, sharing pet pictures, or sharing events. The server also has a variety of online events including a monthly book club and game night.
How do we work together to create a community?

While participating in Safer Together Discord Server, moderators will hold participants to QYS guidelines as well as Discord Guidelines to create an affirming and safe environment for all participants.
Users will have to agree to the Server guidelines when they join. Violation of QYS or Discord guidelines can result in removal from the server.
