PERFORMER & EVENT ORGANIZER GRANT program

The Yukon Pride Centre is launching an honorarium grant program for performers and event organizers involved with Yukon Pride Centre events.

We are aware that there are various barriers people could be facing that affect the amount of time, energy and capacity they're able to commit to performing in and coordinating events. These include but aren't limited to experiencing anti-Blackness, anti-Indigeneity, racism, ablesim, transphobia, and housing insecurity. These grants are available for LGBTQIA2S+ community members who self-identify as QTBIPOC, Trans and/or Non-Binary, have a disability, are experiencing housing insecurity, or are from a Yukon First Nation. Performers and event organizers may not receive more than one grant per individual event.

These grants are specifically for Yukon Pride Centre events and selected performers, that have already been approved. Performances that require less preparation than a full stage performance may still qualify for grants, but will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Any of the information provided through applications for these grants or for future opportunities will only be seen by Yukon Pride Centre staff.
