Community Access Coordinator
Mira's Headshot
Maren is grateful to have grown up in Whitehorse, the beautiful Territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta’an Kwäch’än Council. After completing her BA in Sociology at the University of Victoria, Maren moved back to her hometown, where she has enjoyed reacquainting herself with the Yukon’s queer community as an out lesbian.

She loves making art and all things creative, and is inspired everyday by the land, her animals, and her relationships. Maren is excited to be a part of the Queer Yukon team and eager to use her role and privilege to uplift and engage queer and trans people throughout the Yukon.
